About Kilsyth Heat Basketball Club

Kilsyth Heat is a proud, community-focused basketball club based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. We compete in the Kilsyth & Mountain District Basketball Association (K&MDBA), offering teams for boys and girls from Miniball (Under 7) through to Under 18s.

Founded in 1978, Kilsyth Heat is one of the longest-standing clubs in the Kilsyth Basketball League. We have a rich history of developing young players and fostering a strong sense of community through sport. Over the decades, our club has continued to grow while staying true to our values—putting player development, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game at the heart of everything we do.

  • Respect – Promoting fairness, inclusivity, and good sportsmanship.

  • Development – Supporting every player to reach their potential at their own pace.
  • Community – Building strong connections with families, volunteers, and local businesses.
  • Fun – Creating a positive, energetic environment that keeps players coming back each season.
